Terms of sale.

Terms that govern the booking and purchase of tickets for Mystery Nights and The Last Curtain, Casocero's public live mysteries. By booking you accept them expressly. In case of doubt, the Spanish version prevails.

Casocero organises two in-person leisure activities open to the public: live murder mysteries with actors, played in teams. Each session brings together up to 30 people from different bookings. Both games are available in English.

  • Mystery Nights: live cluedo of about an hour and a half. No food or drinks included. Held in Madrid, in the Plaza Mayor area; the exact address is emailed 24 hours before the session. Minimum age: 18.
  • The Last Curtain: live mystery at the UMusic Hotel Madrid (Calle de la Paz 11, Madrid). The game starts about 20 minutes after the session time and lasts 66 minutes. No food or drinks included. Minimum age: 18.

3. Price and payment

  • The price, VAT included, is €28 per person for Mystery Nights and €29 per person for The Last Curtain. Promotional coupons may apply under the conditions stated in each case.
  • The booking is made by paying online a €10 deposit per person by card through Stripe's secure gateway. Casocero does not store card details.
  • The balance (€18 per person for Mystery Nights and €19 for The Last Curtain, or the amount resulting after a coupon) is paid on the day, at the venue, on arrival.
  • Each booking is for 2 to 5 people.

4. Confirmation

The booking is confirmed when the deposit payment is completed. You will receive a confirmation email with your booking code and a reminder a few days before; for Mystery Nights, also the exact address 24 hours before. Emails are sent in Spanish. It is your responsibility to provide a valid email address and to check your inbox and spam folder.

5. Minimum number of participants

Each session requires a minimum of 10 participants. If it has not been reached three days before the date, Casocero will cancel the session, notify you by email and refund the deposit in full to the same payment method, without you having to request it. Refunds may take 5 to 10 working days to appear, depending on your bank.

6. Cancellation by the customer

  • Cancel at least 7 calendar days before the session and the deposit is refunded in full.
  • With less than 7 days' notice the deposit is non-refundable. If there is room on another date we will try to move the booking, without this constituting an obligation.
  • Reducing the number of attendees with less than 7 days' notice does not entitle you to a refund of the deposit for unused seats.
  • Cancellations are notified by WhatsApp on +34 614 15 43 42 or by email to eventos@casocero.net, quoting the booking code.

7. Right of withdrawal

Under article 103.l) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services with a specific date of performance, as is the case. The cancellation terms in section 6 apply instead.

8. Punctuality and access

The activity is collective. Mystery Nights does not start until every team has arrived, so please arrive 5 minutes before the booked time. For The Last Curtain, arrive at the session time; the game starts about 20 minutes later. Once the investigation has started, access is not guaranteed. No-shows or late arrivals that prevent participation do not entitle you to a refund.

9. Age and alcohol

Both activities are for people over 18. Casocero may request official ID at the entrance and refuse entry, without refund, to anyone who cannot prove the minimum age.

10. Food and drinks

Neither activity includes food or drinks. Anything consumed at the venue is paid separately.

11. Cancellation or changes by Casocero

If Casocero has to cancel or change a session for organisational reasons or force majeure, you will be offered another date or a full refund of the deposit, at your choice.

12. Behaviour

Casocero may refuse or interrupt, without refund, the participation of anyone who endangers the safety of others, damages the material or the venue, or prevents the normal course of the activity.

13. Complaints and applicable law

Complaints can be sent to eventos@casocero.net; we will reply as soon as possible and within one month at most. Complaint forms are available to consumers. These terms are governed by Spanish law; the courts of the consumer's domicile have jurisdiction.
